Profiles

Logistics Execution > Setup > Workers > Profiles

Profiles allow for additional user security setup regarding the logistics operations. Specifically, each configured profile enables activities and actions to be executed within the associated operation.

Furthermore, you can add constraint exemptions to an operational profile, allowing you to override the identified constraints when necessary.

Constraint Exemption Tab

This tab displays a list of constraints that are inapplicable to the profile.

Enabled Activities & Actions

Operational profiles are also responsible for determining the specific activities, and the actions within those activities, a user may execute.

If these activities and actions are not set up appropriately, the user will not be able to perform the necessary functional processes.

Click Enable Actions on the ribbon.

Select the Can Override? option on an operational profile to allow the user to surpass the constraint on any applicable functional process.

Copy Profile Configuration

You can copy any profile configuration from one operation to another. All related information is copied, including constraint exemptions and allowed activities and actions.

Note

If an operation does not have appropriate access to the constraints and activities related to the copied profile, a warning appears and the perpetrating constraint, activity, or action is highlighted red.

Click Copy Profile on the ribbon.
