The Shipment Summary page allows you to view shipment details.

Use this page to view the workflow status bar, add and message participants, upload relevant documents, and more.

Tabs

General Tab

This tab displays general information about the shipment.

If the shipment is part of a transfer order, you can view the Ship To warehouse ID on the General tab.

Participants

Depending on your configuration and status, you may see the Participants option on the General tab.

Click the envelope icon to open the Contact Participants pop-up window.

Add recipients who want to receive notifications for this business transaction.

You can also select an attached document(s) to send to the selected recipients (see Documents Tab).

Attributes Tab

This tab displays shipment attributes, if applicable.

Delivery Notes Tab

This tab displays delivery notes about the shipment, if applicable.

Event Log Tab

This tab displays Event Log details.

The download icon is enabled if you are using a workflow connector to send information back to a host system.

Messages Tab

This tab displays messages tied to the business transaction.

New or Edit Message

Click New to create a message. Click Edit to edit a message.

This opens a pop-up window where you can add a message and choose whether to notify all participants linked to the business transaction.

Delete Message

Select the desired message and click Delete.

Click OK on the confirmation pop-up window to confirm the deletion.

Note

You can only edit or delete messages that you created.

Shipment Lines Tab

This tab displays shipment line details.

Expand a line to view all child business transactions, if applicable.

It also allows you to capture batch information, if applicable. See Manage Batch Information for more information.

If the shipment is part of a transfer order, you can view the Production Item Number on the Shipment Lines tab.

Purchase Orders Tab

This tab displays purchase order details, if applicable.

Transportation Tenders Tab

This tab displays transportation tender details, if applicable.

Click New to create a new tender. See New Transportation Tender for more information.

This allows you to build out LTL loads and then tender the loads out to carriers for pickup and delivery to the destination.

Freight Invoice Tab

This tab displays freight invoice details, if applicable.

Containers Tab

This tab displays container details, if applicable.

Select an option to view labels associated with the shipment and/or container(s):

View All Labels for Shipment
View All Labels for Container
View Label for Container

These labels are configured on the Container Labels page.

Overview Tab

This tab displays overview details, including dates.

See Generic Dates for information on creating custom date fields.

Documents Tab

This tab allows you to maintain all documents for the business transaction.

You can upload new documents or download or view current documents.

Click New to attach a document.

Select a document type and then select the file you wish to attach.

Click Save to return to the summary page.

See General Tab for information on sending attached documents to selected recipients.

Custom Reports Tab

This tab displays attached reports, if applicable.

You can view and/or download reports from this tab.

See Custom Reports for more information.

Rate Details Tab

This tab displays rate details, if applicable.

Buttons

These options vary depending on your Workflow configurations, Roles, and the shipment status.

BUTTON	DESCRIPTION
Pack	Click this button to open the Pack Station for the existing shipment. You may be alerted that this shipment is in process. Click No to stay on the current page. Click Yes to open the Pack Station.
Packing Structure	Click this button to open the Packing Structure page, where you can create, move, and delete containers and pallets.
Edit	Click this button to edit the shipment.
Delete	Click this button to delete the shipment.
